She chose to settle on the West Coast, known for its calm Caribbean waters and picturesque beaches. “The sea here is exactly what you imagine when you think of a Caribbean beach. And being just a two-minute walk from the beach? Absolute heaven!”
Navigating Rentals
Currently, Carly lives in a long-term rental, though she’s considering purchasing in Valley Church after selling her New Zealand home.

Carly’s move began with a visitor’s visa, which allows UK citizens up to six months on the island. Her partner obtained a work permit before their arrival, and while the process can be lengthy, there’s now a fast-track service available.
